Medical Imaging Northwest is a group of 25 private practice radiologists, technologists and staff committed to providing the finest medical imaging technology to our patients, and the communities we serve. Medical Imaging Northwest offers a broad range of services at multiple locations and provides quick, accurate reporting. We attract highly trained physicians (board certified radiologists with fellowship and/or subspecialty training) and registered radiologic technologists with advanced certifications and multiple capabilities.

With MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital, we co-own manage and operate ACR accredited imaging centers.

Getting Reports:

We do not give imaging results directly to the patient, so please prepare him or her to wait to hear from your office. Depending upon your preference, we can either automatically fax your reports upon approval, or mail them to you.

In addition, we also have a wonderful new technology, McKesson PACS, which is available to you for free. This technology allows you to retrieve your patient’s digital images and corresponding reports on the spot once they are read and approved. If you are connected to the Internet, a representative from Medical Imaging Northwest will be glad to schedule an appointment to install and train you and your staff on our McKesson PACS software. Call our IT department at 253-841-4353 to discuss this option and schedule a convenient appointment.

Billing Questions:

If you have billing questions about imaging procedures, please refer patients to our Accounts Receivable staff at 253-581-2550. We are available to answer your questions weekdays during normal business hours.

If you have insurance coverage questions about a patient’s imaging procedure, please call the insurer’s customer service department. Insurance questions are always best answered directly by the insurer.

Scheduling Patients:

Privacy and Security Questions:

Medical Imaging Northwest is HIPAA compliant. Patients will be provided with a copy of our privacy notices that can be found on our web site.

Childcare:

It is a good idea to remind patients to arrange for childcare before coming to their exam. There are no childcare services on site. Do to the presence of radiation, children are not allowed to enter patient rooms with their parents during imaging procedures.

Ordering Exams:

Make sure to FAX the completed radiology order form before their appointment. Do not rely on the patient remembering to bring it with them. Having a properly completed document in advance will expedite the appointment and improve the patient’s experience.

Prior Films and Surgical Reports:

Please indicate if the patient has prior films and/or surgical reports and their location so that we can order them in advance of their procedure(s).
