Radiologists


We are continually looking for outstanding Radiologists that would like to join a dynamic team of professionals.

Technologists

Radiologic Technologists have one to four years of specialized training with certification, associate's degree or bachelor's degree education. Medical Imaging Northwest requires all Technologists hired by the practice to be certified (or eligible for certification) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

With additional courses and practicum, Radiologic Technologists can specialize in specific imaging technologies. In addition to general radiography, Medical Imaging Northwest employs technologists specializing in MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography and Quality Management.

Administration

Medical Imaging Northwest has a variety of administrative roles. These roles include our Administrator as well as managers responsible for our Radiology Departments (including Mammography, CT, MRI, Ultrasound and General Radiology), Billing, Secretarial & Transcription, Finance, Privacy/Compliance, Human Resources, and Marketing/Special Projects.

Accounts Receivable

Positions in the billing department range from data preparation and research of patient services and accounts to data entry and processing of payments. Successful employees have either medical billing education or experience.

Medical Imaging Northwest also employs coding staff with certification through the Radiology Coding Certification Board and the American College of Professional Coders. These individuals have extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical billing.

Patient Flow Coordinators

Medical Imaging Northwest employs receptionists at our Puyallup Imaging Center and at our Sunrise Imaging Center. These individuals have exceptional patient service skills, secretarial/medical terminology training, medical insurance knowledge, and an ability to exhibit grace under pressure.

Darkroom/File room

Technical Assistants ensure that patient films and paperwork are processed accurately and that records are sent to physicians to support patient care. Basic medical terminology is required for these positions.

Radiology Assistants function as assistants to the technologists and assist with patient flow, hang films for reading, develop films, and process paperwork. Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is required for these positions.

Transcription

Strong experience and medical transcription skill is required to succeed in these positions. The work is varied and rotates to add variety and broad experience to the job.

Other Support Positions

Our medical secretaries and administrative assistants handle all legal and medical communication, answer phones, and assist with a variety of projects, maintain supplies, assist with physician scheduling, and backup transcription.
